Do you remember the stories about the physicians who would see their patients at their home?
Today’s medical care has evolved to meet the needs of a variety of patients in various forms of urgency or emergencies.
But do all people in the ER need to be there?
No. They don’t.
Many people are there because they could not get in to see their Primary Care Providers, or they have issues that happen outside the normal operating hours of their Urgent care and family Physician and the only option is to go to the ER, sometimes waiting hours for minor issues.
